Scarf Swap

If you didn't know, I love scarves. I have flowy scarves, winter scarves, knit scarves, patterned scarves, & solid scarves - I'm not picky!
So when I saw that Allie at A Day in A. Joyful Life was hosting a scarf swap, I knew I had to be a part of it.

I was paired up with Jen from The Adventures of our Army Life. She's maybe the sweetest lady ever.

She's a "regular" lady like the rest of us. She has blogged about her struggle with infertility and the loss of her mom but also shares joyful moments with her readers. She's incredibly real and I highly recommend you take a little side trip to visit her blog and follow along with her.

Anyway, we swapped scarves! I had a great time shopping for her because she told me that she loves anything that's brown and orange. You'd think that wouldn't be too hard of a request seeing as how the stores are full of all things Autumn these days but it proved to be quite the challenge! I finally found the scarf I was looking for and was able to send it her way. Check out her post today about the beauty I sent her.

I received this wonderful package from Jen in the mail. She even decorated the inside of the box!

She included a beautiful coral scarf {totally going to be my pop of color when wearing my dark gray pea coat this winter!}, a lovely card, and two Essie polishes.
I wore the scarf while running errands last week and I got stopped twice by people who wanted to compliment my scarf. Now if that's not a successful scarf swap, I don't know what is!

Beautiful color, right? And I've already used both Essies because they're such great seasonal colors. If anyone out there has midnight cami, you should try it with Matte About You on top. It's gorgeous!

Keep your eyes peeled; the scarf and polishes are bound to be in a lot of photos coming your way!
